A poppy seed roll
1 tbsp. sugar
125 gr. butter
1 tbsp. poppy
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp. flour
1. Mac boil for 5 minutes and let it swell in boiling water under a cover 20 minutes, strain through a sieve.
2. The whisk yolks with sugar and butter, add the poppy seeds and the flour with the baking powder, you can add nuts and raisins.
3. Separately, beat egg whites to soft peaks and carefully enter them in the dough.
4. Put the dough in a greased form and bake a poppy seed roll for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
5. Let cool and enjoy.
